I love the books, i think i've read them all twice or even more.
& i like the first movie. But the other movies are really horrible!

It's not about the kids :P it's about the quality of the movie in general.
The last one was just horrible.

Different director make a big difference to the over all look. I have no clue why the same director didn't stay on and do all the movies. But again that's a big commitment to something that's stretches that far into the future.

I know they couldn't make all of them in a role like the lord of the ring movies because they wanted you to see how the kids grew and changed. And oh how they changed. :)

Some times we just got to hope for the best when it come to the look of the movie. Some times it works, some times it don't.

Nah, i dunno. I don't like the movies :P
But i'm more a reader & i hate it how many details are lost in movies :P

I think that's why I like the books more. They expand more on a lot of topics in the written form because there is such a time restriction when it comes to movies. Quite frankly, I often find books turned movies a bit on the disappointing side.
